• There are unexpected delays or trip deviations. If there are unnecessary or unexplained detours, know that our system is constantly tracking your location. But if you think the situation calls for it, use the emergency assistance button.
• You’re traveling late or in an unfamiliar place. In high-risk places in Colombia, sharing your location can help you feel safer.
• The driver or passenger displays erratic behavior. If you hint that they may be violent, you don’t need to wait for their behavior to escalate to do something. In this case, seeking help by tapping the emergency button is acceptable as well.
• You’re involved in an accident. Depending on the severity of the accident, you may need medical assistance. Using the emergency button makes sure that you get the help that you need right away.

• Activate all the safety features even before the trip.For example, you don’t need to wait until you get on to share your location. Saving their contacts on the app itself so they’re notified every time you book through Yango is just more convenient.
