Yandex Kyrgyzstan is looking for a Government Relations Director to lead our engagement with government authorities in Kyrgyzstan.

You will be responsible for
• Developing a strategy together with business teams, Legal, and PR to advance the company’s interests with government authorities in Kyrgyzstan
• Identifying business priorities and translating them into an engagement agenda with senior executive authorities, city administrations, and parliament
• Monitoring and analyzing key economic trends in the country
• Keeping business teams informed about government initiatives affecting the company’s interests and proposing solutions to support a favorable operating environment
• Preparing submissions to government authorities, letters, briefing notes, presentations, and analytical materials
• Preparing meetings between company leadership and key stakeholders in the country
• Representing the company at public events
• Managing the delivery of company projects in collaboration with relevant government authorities
You might be a fit if you have
• A university degree in international relations, law, economics, or political science, and 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Resilience under pressure and a focus on results
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and defend your position clearly and persuasively
• A high level of autonomy and accountability: the ability to plan your work around the company’s priorities and needs, allocate resources effectively, and assess risks and outcomes
• The ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, with a sound understanding of project management principles
• The ability and willingness to work as part of a team
