Yango Group is looking for a Hub Expert in Gaborone to support and train partner drivers while helping improve service quality and grow local operations.
You will work closely with new and existing partner drivers, helping them navigate day-to-day operations and providing practical guidance when they need it. Your work will contribute to a smooth, reliable experience for partners and strengthen our presence in the local market.
This is a hybrid role.
You will be responsible for
• Conducting in-person registration, document verification, and activation for new partner drivers and fleet owners, ensuring compliance with Yango policies and local regulations
• Delivering individual and group training on the Yango Pro app, local procedures, service and safety standards, bonus programs, performance metrics, and compliance requirements, helping drivers understand how to meet their targets
• Providing first-line, in-person technical and operational support, resolving common issues with the driver app, payments, account management, and trips
• Monitoring driver performance and providing tailored training and guidance to help low-rated drivers improve
• Handling complex inquiries, including payment discrepancies, urgent incident reports, lost-and-found claims, and account changes
• Keeping the hub well-maintained, welcoming, and running smoothly to support daily partner visits and activities
• Gathering feedback from drivers and partners on the app, operational challenges, local market conditions, and competitor activity
• Preparing regular reports for the City Operations Manager on daily hub activity, key driver issues, market insights, and performance metrics, such as completed onboardings and training attendance
• Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in local processes, and working with the operations team to recommend and implement improvements
You might be a fit if you have
• 6+ months of experience in support or a related role
• Fluency in English
• Confident computer skills
• Access to the required work equipment (a computer or laptop and headphones)
• Clear, articulate communication and the ability to engage effectively in conversation
