Yandex Kyrgyzstan is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal team. In this role, you will provide legal support across a wide range of business matters, help manage legal risks, interact with government authorities, and support the sustainable development of our services.

You will be responsible for
• Providing legal support for business operations, assessing legal risks, and handling claims and dispute-related matters
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements and other legal documents
• Preparing responses to requests from government authorities
• Representing the company’s interests before government authorities and other external stakeholders
• Preparing legal opinions and advice on matters related to civil, administrative, antitrust, tax, labor, intellectual property, personal data protection, and other areas of law
You might be a fit if you have
• A law degree
• Strong knowledge of civil law, consumer protection legislation, e-commerce regulations, tax and labor law, intellectual property law, personal data protection regulations, and antitrust legislation
• 3+ years of experience in IT, transportation, logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces, or project-based work in these industries
• Fluency in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English
• Experience interacting with government authorities
• The ability to independently manage projects and legal matters
• The ability to adapt quickly to change
• A willingness to understand business processes in depth and provide a high level of service
• Strong communication, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills
