QA Engineer for Alice Scenario Platform (Kyrgyzstan)

Yandex Kyrgyzstan is looking for a QA Engineer to join the Alice Scenario Platform team. In this role, you will help test and launch new features for Alice across multiple platforms, including smart speakers, TVs, mobile, and web applications, while maintaining a high level of product quality.
As Alice becomes more intelligent every year, we continue developing voice assistant technologies and expanding functionality powered by large language models across different platforms.
You will be responsible for
• Testing a wide range of product features, from basic Yandex Weather scenarios to large language model (LLM)-powered functionality across all integrated platforms
• Maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation, including feature descriptions, test models, and related materials
• Participating in feature design discussions at early stages of development
• Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to support product quality and testing processes across platforms
You might be a fit if you have
• An understanding of software testing theory and the ability to apply it in practice
• A solid understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience with DevTools, Postman, Insomnia, Git, and Curl
• An understanding of software development and QA processes
• Experience maintaining test documentation
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
• Attention to detail, self-sufficiency, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
It’d be a plus if you:
• Have tested ML services and understand their specifics
• Have experience with voice interfaces, GUI-less platforms, IoT devices, speech recognition, or text-to-speech systems
• Understand microservice architecture, sockets, and service interaction patterns
• Have worked with relational databases and written SQL queries
• Can read code in Python, Kotlin, or C++
