• Gathering payroll-related updates from HR, processing them in payroll software, and posting payroll in Oracle ERP to generate staff disbursements
• Ensuring payslips are generated and distributed through the payroll system, and maintaining accurate payroll records
• Preparing salary payment instructions using ERP and coordinating with the Treasury to ensure timely disbursement of salaries and statutory payments
• Preparing and submitting withholding tax returns/statements and ensuring payments to FBR
• Ensuring accurate payroll deductions in accordance with tax and labor laws, and maintaining compliance with local regulations
• Conducting internal controls to ensure data accuracy and timeliness of salary calculations, and generating payroll reports, general ledger postings, and reconciliations
• Managing payroll for multiple entities within the group and responding to ad hoc payroll reporting requests from management
• Monitoring changes in Pakistan’s tax and labor legislation and ensuring payroll processes remain compliant
• Collaborating with HR on onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and other payroll-related matters, and supporting internal stakeholders with payroll-related inquiries
