We're looking for a talented Automation QA Engineer intern who will help ensure the stable operation of the app and contribute to the development of the mobile testing system.
Yandex Taxi is an international service that grows every year and is becoming an alternative to public transport and popular delivery services. The Yandex Pro app is a working tool for drivers and couriers. Through the app, they receive orders, track earnings, and complete quality checks. The app must be easy to use, convenient, reliable, and capable of handling high loads.
You will be responsible for
• Supporting and developing automated tests for the Android app, participating in regression test automation together with a mentor, maintaining and updating test suites, investigating test failures, and contributing to improving product quality
• Participating in integration testing processes, writing integration automated tests, and analyzing their execution results
• Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and managers, learning the structure of the mobile app, and gradually learning to use Flutter
You might be a fit if you have
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals and the software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with client-server architecture principles
• A basic understanding of HTTP
• Basic knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
• An interest in test automation
• Motivation to grow in mobile testing
• Strong attention to detail, a responsible attitude, and the willingness to learn and ask questions
It’d be a plus if you:
• Are familiar with Android mobile testing
• Have knowledge of Espresso, Appium, or other UI testing tools
• Have experience with Git
• Are interested in Flutter or willing to learn it
