Join the Yandex Go team in Tashkent to work on an insurance platform within Yandex Pro, evolving from short-term vehicle insurance policies for drivers into a scalable marketplace with automated policy issuance, data pre-filling, fraud prevention, and resilient integrations with multiple providers.

You will be responsible for
• Redesigning the architecture to enable vehicle insurance policy issuance beyond Yandex Pro, scaling from initial users to hundreds of thousands daily while maintaining high uptime despite unstable insurance provider performance • Building tools for fleet owners, enabling centralized policy management, and supporting growth in policy volume • Adapting services for multiple markets where Yandex Taxi operates, ensuring compliance with local regulations and simplifying driver legalization processes • Scaling key product metrics, including policy volume, system reliability, and marketplace integrations, while owning projects end-to-end
You might be a fit if you have
• Strong programming skills and experience writing production code • The ability to balance technical and product-oriented problems • Experience with SQL, optionally with NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) • A strong understanding of algorithms and data structures It’d be a plus if you: • Have experience designing distributed systems under high load • Have experience with Python or are ready to learn it
