Senior Business Development Manager (Qazaqstan)

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to ensure the strategic development and operational excellence of our ride-hailing service in Qazaqstan. In this role, you will work at the intersection of partner management, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, with a direct impact on business performance in one of our key regions.
You will be responsible for
• Developing long-term partner relationships, maintaining regular communication, and identifying growth opportunities • Supporting partners on operational, financial, and product-related topics and resolving escalations • Working jointly with partners on scaling and development plans • Searching for, negotiating with, and integrating taxi companies and strategic partners • Preparing presentations and calculating economic models to assess partnership effectiveness • Analyzing unit economics and operational metrics and identifying performance bottlenecks • Preparing practical, data-driven recommendations for partners to improve key indicators • Leading cross-functional initiatives and coordinating work across product, operations, marketing, PR, and finance teams • Monitoring execution progress and tracking achievement of performance indicators • Supporting partner projects together with cross-functional teams and participating in inter-service integrations • Acting as a primary point of contact for collaboration with other company services • Monitoring the market, analyzing regions and business models, and identifying development opportunities • Preparing analytical conclusions, assessing the financial efficiency of initiatives, and substantiating proposed actions
You might be a fit if you have
• Experience in business development and partnerships, preferably in ride-hailing or e-commerce • Strong financial expertise, including building models and evaluating project effectiveness • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from concept to result • Strong communication and negotiation skills for working with partners and internal teams • Strategic and analytical thinking and the ability to turn data into actionable solutions • A strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment • Fluency in English, Kazakh, and Russian • Readiness for regular business trips within Qazaqstan It’d be a plus if you: • Have experience working in a large international company or consulting
