Senior Backend Developer (Qazaqstan)

Yandex Qazaqstan is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join the Yandex Urban Services Technology Platform. You will work in a backend team focused on the reliability and stability of large-scale services. The team develops site reliability engineering (SRE) solutions, improves infrastructure resilience across multiple regions, and implements data protection mechanisms.
You will be responsible for
• Building SRE solutions for various service providers
• Fine-tuning and optimizing service performance in different geographical locations
• Designing and implementing mechanisms to protect user data and manage data access
You might be a fit if you have
• Strong knowledge of popular programming languages such as C++, Java, or C#
• Experience with Python
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• An understanding of network interaction at L3/L7 layers, as well as concepts like metrics and p99
