Mobile QA Automation Engineer (Uzbekistan)

We are hiring a Mobile QA Automation Engineer in Tashkent to strengthen our testing infrastructure and improve the technical quality of mobile application testing processes. We closely monitor test performance indicators such as run duration, success rates, and resource usage. Addressing these challenges often involves working with low-level settings, code, and environment optimization tools (CI/CD pipelines, emulators), as well as developing AI-based tools for automated test scenario generation and building Quality Gates to ensure changes reach production only after successful testing. This role is suitable for a mid-level engineer (2+ years of experience) who is comfortable working with mobile platforms and interested in improving testing infrastructure beyond writing tests.
You will be responsible for
• Writing and maintaining automated tests in Kotlin (Android) or Swift (iOS) • Developing supporting tools and setting up testing infrastructure • Reviewing automated tests created by development teams • Working with CI/CD pipelines, emulators, and test environments • Collaborating with related teams and building effective cross-team communication
You might be a fit if you have
• The ability to write production-level code in Kotlin (Android) or Swift (iOS) • An understanding of how mobile applications work at a system level • The ability to quickly navigate unfamiliar systems and introduce meaningful improvements • Experience debugging issues in mobile applications • Strong communication skills and are comfortable working with multiple teams • A desire to work in Tashkent on a hybrid schedule (4 days in the office, 1 day remotely) It’d be a plus if you • Take a proactive approach to improving code, architecture, and team processes • Are ready to take responsibility for entire product or technical areas
