Yango is seeking a Head of Operations to lead local operations and manage fleet and partner relations. This role requires strong analytical thinking and a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics.
You will be responsible for
• Managing and improving local operations by analyzing trends and data to support efficient and informed decision-making • Leading and growing the partner fleet network to ensure productive and scalable collaborations • Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners while overseeing their performance and development • Creating effective and cost-efficient processes for driver acquisition and retention • Supporting the launch of new services, products, and cities, while leading strategic projects that improve operational performance • Designing and executing initiatives to improve key operational metrics and ensure business success • Developing and managing strategic partnerships to unlock new opportunities and drive growth

• Have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Possess excellent negotiation abilities and know how to influence key metrics • Are proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data • Have experience building and leading teams, inspiring trust, and motivating people • Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally • Understand unit economics, tech-driven marketplaces, operational efficiency, marketing, and financial drivers • Take a structured, process-oriented, and hands-on approach to solving problems • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in startup environments • Use a data-driven approach to decision-making and can interpret numbers to tell a story • Are fluent in both French and English
