To start a ride, users simply need to open the Yango app and go to the Scooters section. A scan button is available directly in the interface: once tapped, the camera opens to scan the QR code on the selected scooter. No separate app is required. Payments are made cashlessly through Yango, where users can also access customer support and all ride-related information.
The integration brings different urban mobility options together in one service. Scooters can be used both for short trips around the city and as a convenient complement to taxi rides.
“We aim to make getting around the city as convenient as possible. The integration of JET scooter rentals into the Yango app gives users the flexibility to choose the most suitable way to travel depending on the situation,” said Mushvig Hasanov, Head of Yango Azerbaijan.
JET’s electric scooter fleet forms a unified micromobility network across Baku, ensuring broad availability of the service throughout the city.
The launch expands the capabilities of the Yango super app, giving users access to one of the largest electric scooter fleets in the city, alongside taxi ordering, delivery services, and public transport navigation tracking.
