Why do I have a rating in the first place?
Okay, got it. But what can affect my rating?
When drivers and passengers treat each other with care and respect, everyone wins. That’s why Yango provides an opportunity for both sides to evaluate the ride and share feedback.
Following the basic rules of politeness can keep your rating high. Don’t worry if it falls a bit. It’s not that easy to be a perfect passenger. To help you improve your performance, we’ve come up with some useful tips.
Tips for passengers
Be on time
Drivers appreciate not having to wait a long time for the passenger, especially in places that are inconvenient for parking. Hint: If you’re running late, it’s better to notify the driver in the chat.
Think about your driver
Choose the pickup point that works for both you and your driver. Avoid setting the pick-up point under barriers, in closed areas or where drivers may be fined for parking.
Take care
It’s simple: Don’t slam the door when closing, don’t litter and refrain from eating and smoking so that there aren’t any unpleasant odors or food crumbs in the car.
Act politely
Respect one another, and if a conversation becomes uncomfortable, don’t hesitate to politely end it. Try to avoid loud conversations on the phone (if they’re unavoidable, let the driver know). Don’t forget to say hello and goodbye and to thank the driver for the ride.
That’s it!
Pretty easy, right? Just follow these simple tips and enjoy your rides!
