Frequently asked questions

  • How much can I expect to earn?

A driver’s final earnings depend on where they drive and what their schedule looks like. Yango Pro gives you the flexibility to drive just a few hours a week, or every day. The service also has bonuses for drivers. Earnings are transparent. In the Earnings section in Yango Pro, you can view the list of all your trips and detailed information about each one, including the route, price, and any bonuses. Passengers can pay either in cash or by card. Sometimes they even leave tips :-)

  • What are bonuses?

This is a special Yango Pro partner program. We give bonuses to service partners, and they, in turn, give them to drivers for excellent work. That helps increase drivers’ earnings. Your total income consists of trips fare and bonuses.

  • Can I choose when to work and which requests to accept?

Yes. Unlike job vacancies that make you stick to a fixed schedule, driving with Yango partners gives you the flexibility to choose to drive a few hours only during rush hour or spend the whole day online. You decide. You can accept trips in the Economy service class which has the most requests, or take an exam and switch to a more premium service class with a higher average trip price. Yango Pro will also highlight purple zones with higher demand for trips and offer trip requests on the way home at the end of the shift to decrease dead mileage.

  • Can I rent or lease a car?

It all depends on the service class you want to drive in. We take into account the car’s model, year of manufacture and average market value. Only cars with at least 4 doors are suitable for Yango rides.

  • How do I receive trip requests in Yango Pro?

Getting started as a driver with Yango Pro is easy. You’ll need a smartphone with Android 5.0 or higher, a camera, GPS module, and 2 GB of RAM. Download and install the Yango Pro app. It will offer you trip requests, map the route, calculate the price of the ride, and keep you up to date on all of Yango Pro’s news. You won’t have to look for passengers or think about the best route to take. Instead, you can focus on driving.

  • I am not a professional. Can I work as a driver?

You can receive Yango Pro trip requests if you’re 21 or older. You’ll also need at least three years of driving experience and a Class B driver’s license. New drivers looking to build a career are wanted by Yango partners to hire, and orientation will be provided on all of Yango Pro’s features and quality standards. The Yango Pro app will help with everything else, like finding trip requests and plotting routes while factoring in traffic jams and road closures.

  • How are trip requests distributed among drivers?

Yango Pro’s system distributes trip requests automatically. It looks for the car closest to the passenger in the suitable service class, and that meets any other requirements. You can earn priority points in Yango Pro to get more trip requests. For example, drivers who perform trips in branded Yango cars have higher priority.

  • Is it safe to drive with Yango?

Our support team is available 24/7. You can ask for help by phone or directly through the Yango Pro app.
