GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. These Warranty Service Terms (hereinafter referred to as the «Warranty») govern the rights and obligations of the official distributor and the purchaser with respect to warranty repair of the vehicle.
2. The Warranty is provided by the official distributor of the manufacturer in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, VR GLOBAL SARL, operating under the Yango Motors brand (hereinafter referred to as the «Distributor»).
3. These Terms have been developed in accordance with the applicable consumer protection legislation of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and do not limit the statutory rights of the purchaser.

WARRANTY PERIOD AND SCOPE

1. The warranty period for the vehicle is 36 (thirty-six) months from the date of commencement of use or 100,000 km of mileage, whichever occurs first.
2. Under the warranty service, the Distributor undertakes to remedy, free of charge, defects in vehicle components and assemblies arising as a result of manufacturing (factory) defects; premature failure during normal operation within the warranty period.

CONDITIONS FOR MAINTAINING THE WARRANTY

1. A mandatory condition for maintaining the Warranty is the vehicle owner’s compliance with operating rules and timely completion of maintenance in accordance with the schedule established by the manufacturer (Appendix 1).
2. It is recommended to perform maintenance at authorized service partners of the Distributor (Appendix 2).
3. During maintenance, the use of the following is permitted: original spare parts and materials of the manufacturer or spare parts and materials equivalent in quality and technical characteristics to those of the manufacturer/Distributor, provided that their use does not violate the manufacturer’s requirements.
4. The engine oil used must meet the following minimum requirements: viscosity grade: 0W-20, 5W-30; API classification: not lower than SN.

PARTIAL REFUSAL OF WARRANTY SERVICE

1. The use of non-original spare parts or materials, or maintenance performed outside an authorized service center, does not automatically terminate the entire vehicle warranty.
2. The Distributor is entitled to refuse warranty repair solely in respect of those components and assemblies whose malfunction is in a direct causal relationship with the use of non-original spare parts or materials, or with unqualified repair.
3. The Warranty remains fully valid with respect to all other components and assemblies of the vehicle whose defects are not related to the use of non-original parts or maintenance outside an authorized service center.

CONFIRMATION OF MAINTENANCE

1. Completion of maintenance is confirmed by one of the following documents: a work order bearing the signature and stamp of the service provider, indicating the list of work performed and spare parts and materials used; or a service booklet with a mark confirming the completion of the relevant maintenance.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

1. The Warranty does not apply to: consumables and parts subject to natural wear and tear; damage resulting from road traffic accidents; mechanical damage; consequences of improper operation, overloading, or use of the vehicle for purposes other than intended; interference with the vehicle design without the Distributor’s approval.

LIMITED WARRANTY FORCERTAIN COMPONENTS

1. A warranty of 3 months or 5,000 km (whichever occurs first) is provided for: oil, air, cabin, and fuel filters; spark plugs; brake pads and brake discs; technical fluids subject to periodic replacement; windshield wiper blades; tires; incazdescent lamps; clutch disc; fuses.
2. A warranty of 12 months or 20,000 km (whichever occurs first) is provided for: the battery.

FINAL PROVISIONS

1. Nothing in these Terms may be interpreted as limiting or excluding the consumer’s statutory rights provided under the legislation of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
2. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and mandatory provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, the legislative provisions shall prevail.
