Yango is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and support financial reporting.
You will be responsible for
• Calculating payroll following local laws
• Preparing payroll tax declarations
• Calculating pension fund (AFP) payments
• Submitting monthly tax returns (VAT and CIT)
• Preparing the Corporate Income Tax Year declaration
• Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
• Preparing local financial statements in accordance with Peru GAAP
• Attending external audits to ensure compliance
• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations
You might be a fit if you have
• Hold an accounting degree
• Have 5+ years of accounting experience
• Have working knowledge of Peruvian tax laws and GAAP
• Possess strong financial analysis skills
• Communicate effectively and clearly, both in writing and verbally in English
• Are highly organized and detail-oriented
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
