Head of Supply (Africa)

We're seeking a Head of Supply for our ride-hailing platform in Africa to lead the supply strategy and execution for the region and ensure a balanced and sustainable network of driver partners.
You will be responsible for
• Developing and executing the overarching supply strategy for the African region • Owning and optimizing the supply growth process from driver acquisition to retention, driving long-term growth across all key markets in the region • Leading and managing the regional supply team, including supply managers, driver operations specialists, and data analysts, to ensure alignment and execution of regional objectives • Optimizing supply operations through data-driven insights, leveraging predictive analytics to inform demand planning and supply strategies • Collaborating with local teams to identify new market opportunities for supply expansion, focusing on increasing market share and driver-partner adoption in emerging cities and regions across Africa • Leading the design and implementation of driver retention strategies, improving satisfaction, and reducing churn across diverse African markets • Overseeing the collection and analysis of supply-side data to measure key performance metrics such as driver activation, retention, earnings, and supply-demand balance • Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as government bodies, regulators, and industry partners, to ensure the company remains well-positioned for growth
You might be a fit if you have
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, economics, or a related field • Have 7+ years of leadership experience in supply chain management, operations, or a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in a senior management position • Possess a deep understanding of supply dynamics, driver-partner management, and optimization techniques • Demonstrate advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data-driven decision-making • Have strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
